My teaching is grounded in feminist pedagogy, which emphasizes critical inquiry, inclusivity, and the recognition of students’ lived experiences as legitimate sources of knowledge. I encourage students to challenge assumptions, engage with diverse perspectives, and connect theoretical frameworks to social and political realities.

In addition to classroom experience, I have sought opportunities for pedagogical development. During a study visit at the University of Toronto, I audited a semester-long course on teaching sociology in the Department of Sociology. This engagement enriched my approach to feminist pedagogy and provided comparative insights into teaching practices across different academic systems, including North America.

  • I have taught and assisted in courses at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, focusing on sociological theory, cultural sociology, and gender studies.

    • Sociological Theory – Department of Sociology, Masaryk University (2018, instructor/TA)

    • Cultural Sociology – Department of Sociology, Masaryk University (2016, TA)

    • Sexualities & Gender: East–West Debates – Department of Sociology, Masaryk University (2015, co-lecturer)

  • Beyond the sociology classroom, I have contributed to teaching in interdisciplinary forums and research institutes. These engagements bring together diverse audiences of students, researchers, and professionals across fields.
